Who benefits?

Equine Assisted Learning offers people of all ages a calm, hands-on way to build confidence, emotional awareness, and practical life skills through connection with horses. Because horses respond honestly to our body language and energy, they help us understand ourselves more clearly—supporting stress reduction, better communication, healthier boundaries, and a grounded sense of self. Whether for children, teens, adults, or seniors, EAL provides a natural, empowering environment to grow, reflect, and strengthen wellbeing.

Come as you are, you are welcome here

Children

4 - 8 yrs (+ carer)

9 - 12 yrs

Equine Assisted Learning assists children in developing confidence, emotional regulation, and clear communication through gentle, hands-on experiences with horses. The horse’s calm, honest responses help kids understand their feelings, practice patience, build focus, and express themselves more easily. In a natural, supportive environment, children learn important life skills—like problem-solving, empathy, and resilience—while connecting with an animal who makes the process feel safe and meaningful.

Young People

13 - 18 yrs

Young people benefit by gaining confidence, emotional regulation, and stronger communication skills through meaningful interaction with horses. The horse’s honest, non-judgmental feedback helps teens understand their emotions, manage stress, and explore healthy boundaries. In a calm, nature-based setting, they develop resilience, self-awareness, and a grounded sense of who they are—learning skills that support them at school, at home, and in their relationships.

Adults & Seniors

19 yrs onwards

Adults access a fuller life experience by slowing down, reconnecting with themselves, and building confidence through the steady, honest presence of horses. Working alongside these sensitive animals helps adults recognise stress patterns, practice clearer communication, and develop healthier boundaries. The experience encourages calm, embodied awareness and offers a refreshing break from daily pressure—supporting resilience, emotional balance, and a renewed sense of clarity and grounding.

Why horses?

Horses are prey animals with highly attuned nervous systems. They pick up on subtle cues and respond in real time. For teens, who are often navigating big emotions and changing relationships, this natural feedback helps them learn how their thoughts, body language, and behaviour shape the world around them.
There’s no judgement, no labels—just honest, immediate reflection from a gentle, intuitive animal.

Testimonials

“Before my EAL session I was both intrigued and nervous. Olga facilitated the experience with such safety, kindness, patience and skill. I was genuinely surprised by what the session brought up in me and by the psychological benefits of working with therapy horses. I highly recommend Olga to anyone considering Equine Assisted Learning as she’s an absolute professional who clearly loves what she does.”

"I had such a wonderful experience. Olga was informative, open, kind and incredibly patient. She created a calm and supportive environment from the very beginning. It was such a unique and grounding experience being with the horses- insightful, gentle and surprisingly powerful. I felt supported throughout and left with a greater sense of awareness and connection."

Richelle, 47

"There is something beautiful and unique about how Olga interacts with both humans and horses. She makes them feel welcome, safe and listened to. And that in itself can be just enough."

I wish to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land I live and work on, the Noongar people.

I respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this region; the Whadjuk area.

I recognise the strength, resilience and capacity of Noongar people in this land.
